Our first item for Wednesday's meeting will be an update on Downtown Sunnyvale developments from Travis Duncan of CityLine. Between the ongoing construction of Whole Foods and the recently announced closing of Macy's, there will be a lot to talk about. Next we will discuss the CASA Compact. CASA is a ten point plan developed by MTC and ABAG (the Association of Bay Area Governments) to solve the housing crisis, and is based on three pillars: protecting tenants, preserving existing affordable housing, and producing new housing.
